We chose C.M. Skerritt Designs for our wedding florals, and it was truly the BEST decision we could have made. The flowers were an absolute moment — breathtaking in every way. Chris was incredible to work with from start to finish. I went back and forth in the beginning about what I wanted, but he patiently helped me clarify my vision with thoughtful suggestions and expert advice. From our first conversation, he took the time to understand exactly what I was hoping for, and the final result exceeded every expectation. His work showcased his remarkable attention to detail, seamlessly woven into a stunning overall design. The way our tablescapes flowed, accented with candles, created such a beautiful and romantic atmosphere. Lilacs can be a finicky flower, but he brought my dream arrangements to life so gracefully. Beyond his talent, Chris was simply a joy to work with — his passion for what he does shines through and makes the entire experience even more special. <3

We hired Chris to do our florals and design for our weekend wedding this past November and could not be happier! Chris came highly recommended to us and he did not disappoint. He was professional throughout the entire process and has a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise on all things floral design. Chris brought our design vision to life. We were blown away with his work and artistry! Our absolute favorite was the huge statement garland he created, which smelled heavenly and we enjoyed it all weekend long. Chris crafted phenomenal florals for our ceremony and reception - centerpieces, personal florals, an open air arch, and so much more. Chris and his team installed all of this on-site within the strict guidelines of our venue. We would highly recommend choosing CM Skerritt Designs if you are planning a wedding, event, or holiday party!

If you’re thinking of hiring Chris as a florist for any event, stop thinking. Just do it. You will not be sorry! Chris did an absolutely phenomenal job with our wedding in October 2024. We trusted his process with the colors and types of flowers and I am SO unbelievably glad we did because Chris is incredibly talented! So stop thinking. Call him now.

I cannot recommend C.M. Skerritt Designs highly enough! I have ordered gifts through Chris for friends and family several times over the past few years—and his designs are always met with rave reviews. The quality and freshness of the flowers, the design aesthetic, and ease of ordering are always top notch. I had tried many other florists in Portland, Maine previously, and was always disappointed with the experience ... that is, until I found Chris. (I'm also the Director of Marketing for a major luxury florist in another market, so I have exceptionally high standards). When my fiancé and I decided to tie the knot in a small family ceremony in Portland, we chose Chris to design the flowers for our wedding weekend. He seriously made my flower dreams come true!!! We held our rehearsal dinner at Salvage BBQ and his designs perfectly fit the industrial space while making the tables feel warm, welcoming, and festive. And then the day of ... every detail was exceptional. My bouquet and the church flowers were dreamy, and he completely transformed our reception space at Luke's Lobster Portland Pier. It truly could not have been more perfect. He worked within my budget and made the entir
